From the login screen, select “reset wallet”. Select “import using Secret Recovery Phrase” and create a new password. Backup your password and Secret Recovery Phrase in a secure place. Note: Secret Recovery Phrase is the ONLY way you can recover your wallet. If you have already backed up your Secret Recovery Phrase, but want to be extra sure (it's good practice), you can backup your Secret Recovery Phrase again by going to Settings > Security & Privacy > Backup again.

Safety reminder: Do not share your your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone. Your Secret Recovery Phrase is your unique key to your wallet & the assets it holds. Keep it safe, keep it secret. Employees at MetaMask will NEVER ask you for Secret Recovery Phrase. Creating a Metamask account is a simple process that can be done in a few easy steps: Step 1: Install the Metamask extension on your web browser. Step 2: Click on the Metamask icon in your browser toolbar and select "Create a Wallet." Step 3: Follow the prompts to create a new account. You will be asked to choose a strong password and backup your seed phrase. The seed phrase is a series of 12 words that will be used to restore your account if you ever lose your password.
